Introducing Sascha, a mini poodle who doesn't like her neighbors [ENG + ESP]

She is very old for a dog, currently 14 years old, and even though she has suffered from some health problems she is still hard as a rock.
I even remember when my aunt and uncle bought her, and there is even a funny anecdote I have with my cousin from those days. I was very little, and I was having fun in an inflatable pool with my cousin when suddenly we had the crazy idea of giving the puppy a bath.
We brought her inside the pool and we were having fun with her when out of nowhere my grandfather appears and tells us with a worried fave that this dog is too little to be having baths and that it could be unhealthy for her. He removed her from the pool, and she spent the new couple of hours cuddling with some towels while she dried. I didn't even know small puppies couldn't enjoy baths but fortunately for us, Sascha didn't get sick from it.
Es muy mayor para un perro, actualmente tiene 14 años, y aunque ha sufrido algunos problemas de salud sigue siendo dura como una roca.
Incluso recuerdo cuando mis tíos la compraron, y hasta hay una anécdota divertida que tengo con mi primo de aquella época. Yo era muy pequeño y me estaba divirtiendo en una piscina hinchable con mi primo cuando de repente se nos ocurrió la loca idea de bañar al cachorro.
La metimos dentro de la piscina y nos estamos divirtiendo con ella cuando de la nada aparece mi abuelo y nos dice con cara de preocupación que esa perra es demasiado pequeña para bañarse y que podría ser malo para ella. La sacó de la piscina y se pasó el nuevo par de horas acurrucada con unas toallas mientras se secaba. Ni siquiera sabía que los cachorros pequeños no podían disfrutar de los baños, pero afortunadamente para nosotros Sascha no enfermó por ello.

There were a few problems at the beginning because she used to bark a lot. Before moving with us she lived on the 19th floor of a building and I don't think she was used to seeing birds or anything like that close to her home, with much fewer neighbors and cars driving in front of her home. So when she suddenly moved to a house with neighbors all over the street, it surely was very stressful for her.
For a while, she even barked at the little birds in the backyard but nowadays she has gotten used to a lot of noise. She is easily the most nervous dog in the entire block though. Sometimes she even reminds me of the cartoon character Courage the Cowardly Dog.
Sascha leads a very relaxed life, ultimately she has been more sleepy than usual but I think this is because of her age. She is the only pet in the house but she must be used to this because never in her life has she shared homes with other pets, so she gets a lot of attention from all the humans.
Hubo algunos problemas al principio porque solía ladrar mucho. Antes de mudarse con nosotros vivía en el piso 19 de un edificio y no creo que estuviera acostumbrada a ver pájaros ni nada parecido cerca de su casa, y mucho menos vecinos y carros pasando por delante de su hogar. Así que cuando de repente se mudó a una casa con gente por toda la calle, seguramente fue muy estresante para ella.
Durante un tiempo, incluso ladró a los pajaritos del patio trasero, pero hoy en día se ha acostumbrado a mucho ruido. Sin embargo, es fácilmente la perra más nerviosa de todo la cuadra. A veces incluso me recuerda al personaje de las comoquitas llamado Coraje, el perro cobarde.
Sascha lleva una vida muy relajada, últimamente ha estado más dormilona que de costumbre pero creo que es por su edad. Es la única mascota de la casa pero debe estar acostumbrada a esto porque nunca en su vida ha compartido casa con otras mascotas, así que recibe mucha atención de todos los humanos.

Her only worries are when neighbors are leaving their houses or walking in front of ours and when the garbage truck is coming to pick up the trash, outside of those 2 events, there is nothing that can really disturb her, well, except thunders, those can make her really scared and very mad as well.
Every night before going to bed, Sascha likes to take one last walk around our backyard so that she can make sure to mark it as her territory before coming inside for the night.
She is the first dog that has ever lived in this house and I believe that for the most part, the process of adaption for everyone involved was a success.
Sus únicas preocupaciones son cuando los vecinos salen de sus casas o pasan por delante de la nuestra y cuando viene el camión de la basura a recogerla, fuera de esos 2 eventos, no hay nada que pueda perturbarla realmente, bueno, excepto los truenos, esos pueden asustarla mucho y enfadarla también.
Todas las noches, antes de acostarse, a Sascha le gusta dar un último paseo por nuestro patio trasero para asegurarse de marcarlo como su territorio antes de irse a dormir.
Sascha es el primer perro que ha vivido en esta casa y creo que en su mayor parte el proceso de adaptación para todos los involucrados fue un éxito.
