A few days ago I shared my experience with this new official application from Real Madrid that consists of a virtual world where every user can hang out and chat with each other. This is the first app of its kind because it has virtual replicas of many areas, rooms, and facilities that are free to explore in their virtual forms.
The app has many different rooms, around 20 in total. On this occasion, I wanted to explore the remaining rooms which can also be considered as the most valuable ones because we will see the very popular Bernabeu tour with its many trophies. This is a tour that exists in real-life, and now, thanks to this app, it also exists in digital form for free.
Without further ado, let's see what we can find in this digital world:
Hace algunos días compartí mi experiencia con esta nueva aplicación oficial del Real Madrid que consiste en un mundo virtual donde cada usuario puede pasar el rato y chatear entre ellos. Esta es la primera aplicación de este tipo porque tiene réplicas virtuales de muchas áreas, habitaciones e instalaciones que son gratuitas para explorar en sus formas virtuales.
La aplicación tiene muchas habitaciones diferentes, alrededor de 20 en total. En esta ocasión, quería explorar las habitaciones restantes que también pueden considerarse como las más valiosas porque veremos el muy popular tour del Bernabéu con sus numerosos trofeos. Este es un recorrido que existe en la vida real, y ahora, gracias a esta aplicación, también existe en forma digital de forma gratuita.
Sin más preámbulos, veamos qué podemos encontrar en este mundo digital:
The first room is called "Best Club Ever Room", I think they give it this name because there is a very special and unique trophy in this room that I will show in a screenshot below. There are many trophies in this place, and unlike the last time I played this game where there weren't many other players around, this time the rooms were full of players. Maybe the museum is among the most popular rooms for users of this application.
If we get very close to the trophies, we will see the option of tapping a virtual button, and it will load more information about the exposition that we are seeing. The image below is an example of this and we can even buy this virtual item.
La primera sala se llama "Best Club Ever Room", creo que le dan este nombre porque hay un trofeo muy especial y único en esta sala que mostraré en una captura de pantalla a continuación. Hay muchos trofeos en este lugar, y a diferencia de la última vez que jugué este juego donde no había muchos otros jugadores alrededor, esta vez las habitaciones estaban llenas de jugadores. Quizás el museo se encuentre entre las salas más populares para los usuarios de esta aplicación.
Si nos acercamos mucho a los trofeos, veremos la opción de pulsar un botón virtual, y nos cargará más información sobre la exposición que estamos viendo. La siguiente imagen es un ejemplo de esto e incluso podemos comprar este artículo virtual.
The room feels like an endless display of trophies after trophies, with each stand giving you the option to buy a related virtual item. One of the things that surprised me in this room was the content of the TVs in front of the trophies. We could see historic moments, such as Hierro lifting a trophy, or when Figo's signing was being announced.
The design of the trophies is properly done, the current LaLiga trophy looks exactly the same, but the ones I was looking for the most were the Champions League trophies. I ended up finding this in another room I visited later on.
La sala se siente como una exhibición interminable de trofeos tras trofeos, con cada puesto que nos da la opción de comprar un artículo virtual relacionado. Una de las cosas que me sorprendió en esta sala fue el contenido de los televisores frente a los trofeos. Pudimos ver momentos históricos, como Hierro levantando un trofeo, o cuando se anunciaba el fichaje de Figo.
El diseño de los trofeos está bien hecho, el trofeo actual de LaLiga se ve exactamente igual, pero los que más buscaba eran los trofeos de la Liga de Campeones. Los terminé encontrando esto en otra habitación que visité más tarde.
Remember I mentioned a couple of paragraphs above about the existence of a very unique trophy that only Real Madrid has? Well, it is called FIFA's Best Club of the 20th Century, and I think it is the reason for the name of this room. Only one of these trophies exists in the world and it belongs to Real Madrid. I suppose the second one of these trophies will be created in the year 2100. This is the sign for the sale of this virtual item.
¿Recuerdas que mencioné un par de párrafos arriba sobre la existencia de un trofeo muy singular que solo tiene el Real Madrid? Bueno, se llama el Mejor Club de la FIFA del Siglo 20, y creo que es la razón del nombre de esta sala. Existe solo uno de estos trofeos en el mundo y pertenece al Real Madrid. Supongo que el segundo de estos trofeos se creará en el año 2100. Este es la opción para la venta de este artículo virtual.
This is how the unique trophy looks. This is again, a very nicely done virtual replica because it looks the same as the real-life trophy. It was created by FIFA to recognize all of Real Madrid's successes in the past century, and leave it clear Real Madrid is the number 1 club in the world. The amount of European Cups won by this club was probably the main reason for FIFA to give this unique trophy to them.

Fue creado por la FIFA para reconocer todos los éxitos del Real Madrid en el siglo pasado, y dejar claro que el Real Madrid es el club número 1 del mundo. La cantidad de Copas de Europa ganadas por este club fue probablemente la razón principal para que la FIFA les diera este trofeo único.
In the final area of this room, we can see the evolution of the club's logo and we can notice the big change that happened in 1941. The modern's logo is pretty much the same as the one from that year only with very small changes. The designs of old t-shirts can also be seen in this same area, it is easy to differentiate them due to the different sponsors.
This was the most interesting room I have seen since I started to play this game, but I was just beginning this gameplay and there were many more rooms to visit.
En la zona final de esta sala, podemos ver la evolución del logotipo del club y podemos notar el gran cambio que ocurrió en 1941. El logotipo moderno es más o menos el mismo que el de ese año, solo que con cambios muy pequeños. Los diseños de camisetas antiguas también se pueden ver en esta misma zona, es fácil diferenciarlas debido a los diferentes patrocinadores.
Esta fue la habitación más interesante que he visto desde que comencé a jugar a este juego, pero apenas estaba comenzando y había muchas más habitaciones para visitar.
The next place was called "Sensations Room", this one was dedicated to the players and their personal achievements. We could find, for example, all the uniforms of the current squad, but more importantly, this room also has a very unique individual trophy, that was only given to a historic Real Madrid player. Just like the FIFA Best Club of the 20th Century trophy is unique, in this room we find a special Ballon d'Or called "Super Ballon d'Or".
El siguiente lugar se llamaba "Sala de Sensaciones", este estaba dedicado a los jugadores y sus logros personales. Podríamos encontrar, por ejemplo, todos los uniformes de la plantilla actual, pero lo más importante, esta sala también cuenta con un trofeo individual muy singular, que solo se ha entregado a un jugador histórico del Real Madrid. Al igual que el trofeo FIFA Best Club of the 20th Century es único, en esta sala encontramos un Balón de Oro especial llamado "Super Balón de Oro".
The Ballon d'Or is the most popular individual trophy in football, and it is given to the best player of the year. The special and unique version called "Super Ballon d'Or" was given in 1989 to the best player of the previous 3 decades. This has been the only time so far where this trophy has been delivered, and the historic player who won it was Alfredo Di Stefano, one of the greatest players in history. You can see the trophy and info about it in the 2 screenshots below.
El Balón de Oro es el trofeo individual más popular en el fútbol, y se otorga al mejor jugador del año. La versión especial y única llamada "Super Ballon d'Or" fue entregada en 1989 al mejor jugador de las 3 décadas anteriores. Esta ha sido la única vez hasta el momento donde se ha entregado este trofeo, y el jugador histórico que lo ganó fue Alfredo Di Stefano, uno de los mejores jugadores de la historia. As we keep advancing in this room, we will also find many more individual trophies won, such as Golden Boots, regular Ballon d'Or, FIFA Players of the Year, and even individual trophies won by goalkeepers. This room was impressive as the previous one. However, the most important trophies, the one from the Champions League, were still missing.
A medida que sigamos avanzando en esta sala, también encontraremos muchos más trofeos individuales ganados, como Botas de Oro, Balón de Oro regular,es Jugadores del Año de la FIFA e incluso trofeos individuales ganados por porteros. The next room was called photo montages and there weren't many valuable things in it. The only interesting thing was this mini replica of the renovated stadium, showing how it will look when the remodeling is over. Real Madrid's stadium is currently undergoing heavy modification that will completely change it. Not only the exterior design will be very different, but it will also become a covered stadium, and even the grass will have a mechanism that removed it so other types of events can take place inside without damaging the grass. It will be very modern and futuristic.
La siguiente habitación se llamaba montajes fotográficos y no había muchas cosas valiosas en ella. Lo único interesante fue esta mini réplica del estadio renovado, mostrando cómo se verá cuando termine la remodelación. El estadio del Real Madrid está actualmente sometido a una fuerte modificación que lo cambiará por completo. No solo el diseño exterior será muy diferente, sino que también se convertirá en un estadio cubierto, e incluso el césped tendrá un mecanismo que lo remueve para que otro tipo de eventos puedan tener lugar en el interior sin dañar el césped. Será muy moderno y futurista.
There was a room dedicated in its entirety to Paco Gento, who up until a couple of weeks ago was the player with the most trophies won for Real Madrid. He also was an Honorary President for Real Madrid until his death in January of this year.
In the room, we can see both pictures of him, as well as virtual replicas of many of the trophies he won when he was younger.
Había una sala dedicada en su totalidad a Paco Gento, que hasta hace un par de semanas era el jugador con más trofeos ganados para el Real Madrid. También fue Presidente de Honor del Real Madrid hasta su muerte en enero de este año.
En la sala, podemos ver tanto fotos de él, como réplicas virtuales de muchos de los trofeos que ganó cuando era más joven.
I finally found the Champions League trophies in the room called "Kings of Europe". This club is the one with the most European Cups ever with a total of 13 so far. We can see all of the 13 trophies in the picture below and to the right. There are 2 versions of the trophy because its design has changed with time but they all represent the same competition.
It must be very impactful to visit this room in real life because these trophies are the most precious ones for European clubs.
Finalmente encontré los trofeos de la Liga de Campeones en la sala llamada "Reyes de Europa". Este club es el que tiene más Copas de Europa de la historia con un total de 13 hasta el momento. Podemos ver los 13 trofeos en la imagen de abajo y a la derecha. Hay 2 versiones del trofeo porque su diseño ha cambiado con el tiempo pero todas representan la misma competición.
Debe ser muy impactante visitar esta sala en la vida real porque estos trofeos son los más preciados para los clubes europeos.
The app also includes the basketball room, I am not a fan of basketball but it is normal for European clubs to have teams for these 2 sports, football and basketball. In the case of Real Madrid, their basketball team is also one of the most successful in the world. We can see many of their trophies in this room, including some videos on a couple of TVs showing historic moments.
La app también incluye la sala de baloncesto, no soy fan del baloncesto pero es normal que los clubes europeos tengan equipos para estos 2 deportes, fútbol y baloncesto. En el caso del Real Madrid, su equipo de baloncesto es también uno de los más exitosos del mundo. Podemos ver muchos de sus trofeos en esta sala, incluyendo algunos videos en un par de televisores que muestran momentos históricos.
I loved the fact they included the locker room as an available place to explore in the app. I am not sure if this place is included in the official real-life tour though because as far as I know the tour is focused only on the museum.
The locker room is updated with the new players and their corresponding numbers. Many videos of celebrations after important matches were filmed in this room and I am sure many fans will enjoy visiting this place even in its virtual form.
Me encantó el hecho de que incluyeron el vestuario como un lugar disponible para explorar en la aplicación. Sin embargo, no estoy seguro de si este lugar está incluido en el recorrido oficial de la vida real porque, hasta donde yo sé, el recorrido se centra solo en el museo.
El vestuario está actualizado con los nuevos jugadores y sus números correspondientes. Muchos videos de celebraciones después de partidos importantes fueron filmados en esta sala y estoy seguro de que muchos fanáticos disfrutarán visitando este lugar incluso en su forma virtual.
One of the last places that are available to visit in the app is the technical area where the coach, his assistants, and the substitute players are sat while a match is being played. What's cool about this place is that we can see the angle at which they see the pitch, and it also allows us to appreciate the imposing vertical design of the stadium. As mentioned in the previous article, the looks will be even more impressive when the renovation is finished and the stadium can finally become a covered one.
Uno de los últimos lugares que están disponibles para visitar en la aplicación es el área técnica donde se sientan el entrenador, sus asistentes y los jugadores suplentes mientras se juega un partido. Lo bueno de este lugar es que podemos ver el ángulo en el que ven el campo, y también nos permite apreciar el imponente diseño vertical del estadio. Como se mencionó en el artículo anterior, el aspecto será aún más impresionante cuando finalice la renovación y el estadio finalmente pueda convertirse en uno cubierto.
The last room is where the press conferences take place. Many historic phrases, and sometimes even discussions between coaches and journalists have taken place in this room. The room ended up being bigger than what I was expecting, it was almost like a small cinema room.
La última sala es donde tienen lugar las conferencias de prensa. Muchas frases históricas, y a veces incluso discusiones entre entrenadores y periodistas han tenido lugar en esta sala. La sala terminó siendo más grande de lo que esperaba, era casi como una pequeña sala de cine.
With this, our virtual tour at the Santiago Bernabeu has reached its end. We have visited all the virtual rooms available in the app, some of them were probably exclusively created as virtual spaces, while others are virtual replicas of real-life rooms. I enjoyed doing and sharing this virtual tour, and I would love to visit it again when the stadium's renovations are finished. It wouldn't surprise me to see other clubs and other types of entities create similar apps to allow people from all over the world to virtually check their facilities. This concept is fun and innovative, and hopefully, it will popularize with time.
Con esto, nuestro tour virtual en el Santiago Bernabéu ha llegado a su fin. Hemos visitado todas las salas virtuales disponibles en la app, algunas de ellas probablemente fueron creadas exclusivamente como espacios virtuales, mientras que otras son réplicas virtuales de salas de la vida real.
