Twitter is reportedly censoring links associated to Substack making it impossible for users to reply to, like or retweet.

For those who don't know what Substack is,

Substack lets independent writers and podcasters publish directly to their audience and get paid through subscriptions. Source

Reportedly after two days of introducing a new feature of Notes to Substack resembling Twitter, the timing of this action doesn't seem coincidental.

And this doesn't seem to be limited to Substack only. As per a report, Twitter under the control of Elon Musk also has taken steps to supress content from Mostodon.

Mastodon is free and open-source software for running self-hosted social networking services. It has microblogging features similar to Twitter, which are offered by a large number of independently run nodes, known as instances, each with its own code of conduct, terms of service, privacy policy, privacy options, and content moderation policies. It does look like Twitter is afraid of its potential rivals and for that reason supressing them on its platform.
