Twitter users have reacted to the latest news regarding Elon Musk directions of strictly allowing Tweets from verified users to appear in the 'For You' tab.
Elon Musk after acquisition of Twitter began to charge accounts for verification.
The blue tick that was used to be indicating authentic accounts like that of politicians, organizations etc has now become available to interested users for sale.

The move was applaused but mostly condemnations as this could provide scammers an opportunity to further their illicit activities.
The Bots
Elon Musk also approved verified bot accounts on the platform.
A typical Twitter bot is designed to do human like activities such as liking tweets and following other users.
These social media bots which also includes Twitter bots have been involved in trolling and spreading miss information over time. These bots were used in inciting panic or spread malware or even spin elections.
It is reported that Twitter has notably lost many advertisers since it became a private company under the new administration.
How would the new Twitter policy treat Twitter and Elon Musk itself, we don't know but these policies does look to be hurting Twitter in the longer run if they were continued.
