How will tie breakers be handled?
Short answer...individually. Each voting round post will specify how a tie breaker will be handled. It all depends on what folks are voting on.
Example:
The first vote will be on token supply. hodlers will vote on a multiplier that is based in the amount of tokens sold durring the pre sale.
Let's say there is a tie between 1x and 3x. In this instance the average number will be chosen in this case 2x. This is a compromise tie breaker and will apply to most number or percentage based votes.
Example 2:
If the distribution vote is a tie ,a tie breaker voting round will be triggered and folks will vote on 2 out of the 3 options. If there is still a tie after two rounds, one of my alts will cast the final vote.
Example 3:
If there is a tie during a vote on delegations going out then either the amount delegated out will be split or my alt will cast the tie breaker vote. This will be stated in the informational post before the voting round begins.
There is no one way that a tie breaker will be decided. It's all individual and depends on what is being voted on and if the vote can be split/a compromise.
I will vote in general with one , maybe two of my accounts on most voting rounds. Everyone is allowed to vote with up to 3 accounts as long as each account holds the minimum amount of DEBTGAME tokens required to vote. I will leave one vote available from one of those accounts in case of a tie breaker, when applicable.
I don't expect to need to trigger many tie breakers but I am sure it will happen some of the time.
