Happy weekend Hivers!, its another weekend again I hope you’re all having a splendid one.
In my opinion an event is a planned public or social occassion that is usually one of importance, so to me there is no such thing as a small event, every event is important, be it a get together, birthday, formal or informal event, In this case If I didn’t know the dress code of an event that I was meant to attend I’d prefer to overdress because the way you dress is how you would be addressed. In this life we live, people tend to quickly look down others and address you as they like.

I remember going for a get together gathering that my friends from school organized some time ago, one of our class mates wasn’t really dressed, she wore a normal gown and sandals, I can still recall how some of the guys were saying why didn’t she dress up very well because we also planned on going out to different places from there. I could see that she felt so embarrassed, when we about going to some other places, she decided to give an excuse just so she could go back home.
Honestly I’d prefer to be overdressed so that I would be ready for anything, you never can tell the kind of people that would be present in that particular event that you plan on going to understressed. You could probably meet people of high class but they wouldn’t even reason you to be anybody because of understressing. If I’m being honest, going to an event underdressed would make me quite uncomfortable, I would be feeling left out, infact I wouldn’t even be able to work around, my self esteem would go from 100% to 50%.
I love dressing good, nice and neat, I love to be addressed with respect, that’s why I love dressing well and respectfully.
