Relationships are one of the most chased things in this world. More often than not, people dive in so deep, lured by the magical light that lies beneath. We sometimes regard relationships as a need for feelings to be labeled. And not all relationships work just because you put your feelings into it. From what I believe, what relationships need the most are communication and respect. Respect of faith, of past mistakes, of so many things. With respect comes acceptance. These are much more important than feelings. If you roll everything to one, then here we can call it love.
But we're all newbies in entering commitments and despite all the stories and lessons learned by many, we continue to be the stubborn kids that we are. When relationships are falling, we strive to make it work with our innocent ways. We try to revive what's dying. Put flame in a dying coal. People say that you should leave this instant instead of helplessly fanning what was left.
It's not that easy.
When you commit, you've built trust, memories, and sometimes your own world that it became hard to let go. That;s the thing with relationships right? You just don't give up. You fight. You fight until the other one still chooses to stay. You fight until the last bit of hope leaves. Of course, many of you will debunk this as I'm only speaking for some people who finds it hard to give up even when everything is going down.
Trying to work everything out is exhausting and sometimes, you just want to drop everything down. But with one smile, one "yes,I'm happy" , with one lie , you pretend that it's going to be okay.
