I've been at the same church since I was 5, and things never seemed to change a lot. Growing up I had the most amazing Sunday School teachers. When I turn to 18 years, my friend and I offered the Sunday School teacher position. At that time, only a few of people who sat on that position. So, we simply say "YES" and join many activities and courses to develop our skill.
HOW TO PREPARE A GREAT KIDS LESSON FOR SUNDAY SCHOOL
We must consider the grade level and ages of the Sunday school students. This can help us to prepare the lesson plan.
Start the class with a prayer and then invite the childrens to sing a song and dance.
State the objectives and goals of the lesson in the lesson plan.
Determine what materials each activity requires. Use a flip chart and markers to aid adult discussions. Markers, glue, crayons and puppets help keep a child's lesson entertaining
Explain any activities step-by-step that help teach the lesson.
Write down questions to ask during the discussion and to summarize the lesson.
Close the lesson plan with reflection time for students to express what they learned.
End Sunday school lessons with a prayer.
