If you need an alternative software to design + render 3D models, try artlantis 2019.
It has many features to enchance your 3D models quality like global illumination, ambient occlusion, adaptive anti aliasing and many more.
The price is a bit expensive from my opinion(above $600), but it has easier learning curve than other similar software, so you can try it if you're interested.
