Recently I was part of a beautiful experience in my hometown San Juan de los Morros and I wanted to document a bit of this experience to add it to my postcards project.

Recientemente fui parte de una hermosa experiencia en mi ciudad natal San Juan de los Morros y quise documentar un poco de esta experiencia para agregarla a mi proyecto de postales.

We visited the Aristides Rojas Natural Monument to collaborate in the reforestation of the monument by throwing seeds of different types of trees such as saman or mahogany.

Visitamos el Monumento Natural Arístides Rojas para colaborar en la reforestación del monumento lanzando semillas de diferentes tipos de árboles como el samán o la caoba.

The seeds were covered with mud balls so that they could withstand the impact of being thrown on the mountain slopes. In addition, the humidity of these mud balls would also help the seeds germinate.

Las semillas se cubrían con bolas de barro para que pudieran soportar el impacto de ser arrojadas en las laderas de las montañas. Además, la humedad de estas bolas de barro también ayudaría a las semillas a germinar.
