For 100 days, I'm going to publish a plus-minus hundred-word post a day on Steemit. These 100 posts will be the insights, routines, and habits of living a better life.

I don’t want to sound like a self-help “guru”.

And I believe thinking about the good things doesn’t make them happen unless you do something about it.

But we can’t deny the power of staying positive.

Never argue with the facts.

  • If the only thing you’re doing is nothing, you won’t be any richer tomorrow.
  • If you jump off from the cliff, you’re going to die even you’re being positive with the 0.01% chance of you will eventually survive.
  • If you choose not to approach that girl you like, she will not magically fall in love with you. She might not even notice you.

And there is the fact — if you stay negative, you will never be happy.

Being positive is nothing about making things better, but making you feel better. Then, move on to make things better.

Here is the complete step-by-step guide to actually use optimism to make things better:

  1. Know your desired outcome — specifically and precisely.
  2. Identify the challenges you may be facing to achieve your desired outcome.
  3. Make a plan to overcome the challenges.
  4. Execute.

Don’t just visualize the goals, visualize the process.
