I started my 'deep relaxation' music series over 25 years ago in 1999 with my first ever album Magic Garden-deep relaxation. I did this because everyone was screaming about how the world was going to come to an end because all of the computers were going to 'explode' at the new year (Y2K)! This caused quite a bit of stress for people at the time! So I decided to compose music dedicated to the relaxation, meditation, wholenes-wellness, and massage therapy industries.
On every 'deep relaxation' album the genre is basically New Age. In general, there is little to no percussion and it stays mostly on the 'lighter' side like polite background music for massage therapy. The songs always get calmer and calmer on these albums so the last song is usually the calmest. The arrangements range from solos to full symphonic ensembles.
