Each video or file has a set binary value (1's & 0's) and is stored on a hard drive. If there are only one such file as a decentralized file stored on multiple computers across the world and all other websites, PDF links are just shortcuts to the location of this video or file imagine how much space will be saved.
The idea in point 1 above can also be utilized to streamline hard drives and servers to save lots of space.

You can transfer as many Bitcoins as you want without using the block chain. Create a wallet (anonymously preferred) put the Bitcoins you want to give to a trusted party in it and give the whole wallet to your friend or family member with the password for the wallet then he can just change the password and use the Bitcoins as he wish. That transaction will not register on the block chain. This wallet with the Bitcoins can change hands a million times and no one would even know it changed hands. But you can only do it with trusted parties.

Real Estate companies/agents are paying centralized property portals a fortune to list their properties. And to maintain their own website. All Real Estate agents from country to country or as a international co-operative website that is divided in to countries, regions etc start a open source property portal project on a equal partner basis, sharing all expenses & running costs between them equally will save thousands on advertising costs.
