Ila Inu figuratively means inner lines. The various lines that cut across the plane of the human face. Ila inu is aimed at showing the beauty of an African woman. The art piece is an adaptation of a body painting by Laolu NYC, the progenitor of the Art of the Ori.
In his body painting, the female face was painted by in lines as well as motifs. Laolu takes his inspiration from his ascentery and he has a saying that "everything is my canvas".

Due to projects and stuff, i often neglect to take work in progress pictures. As such, i have only pictures of the lino surface itself and the final piece.
NOTE: The final result is always in reverse.
