I agree, they should be everyday tools. I understand wanting your knife to be a bit artsy/colorful. But, yeah. Watching someone dropping the price of a car on a pocket knife is nutty. I know some people who do get them and then just keep them in their gun safes, they take them out occasionally to look at them and touch them. I do, however, know one person who spent around $3500 on a pocket knife and then proceeded to carry it everyday for a long time. Was a very, very weird choice on his part.

I've seen a lot of people on IG and reddit carrying $1200-1500 knives as well though. It's very alien to me to see people do that, I would probably have my heart implode if I carried a knife that expensive and then lost it or broke it.
