I would absolutely try your best to work remotely from home. Anything to reduce possibility of exposure is a solid plan. It's honestly kind of a joke what my fiancee's company is doing after finding out she was infected. They aren't making anyone there wear a mask, no quarantining anyone she interacted with directly even though they all have the option to work from home if need be. They were telling her she could come back to work in person after a week, when the health department and doctors were telling her to stay home for 14 days.
