Well, of course If I was remaking A Nightmare on Elm Street, the first thing I'd do is make Freddy Krueger's entire backstory and character just be that he's a pedophile! What could go wrong!

Actual remakes that were well done, in my opinion

  • Dawn of the Dead
  • Fright Night
  • Child's Play
  • Evil Dead (Though, I know some die hard Raimi fans get flaccid over it, but I dug it a lot. Still enjoy Evil Dead II more.)
  • The Mummy (Brendan Fraser is the source of pure testosterone and masculinity)
  • The Blob
