Honestly, possessed killer dolls seem to be a timeless classic that puts shit in the pants of all children. The Annabelle franchise is still going on, and I imagine it's just because the concept is spooky no matter what age we live in apparently.

Also, the original Child's Play franchise is probably about to make a resurgence, as they're ramping up a new TV series with the guy who wrote and directed all of the original Child's Play movies. Pretty sure it's going to be on HBO or one of those types of networks. Maybe this time around you'll be getting wet dreams instead of nightmares.
