What Am I to Do?
I am a professional photographer and my content is extremely unique and different from the rest of many. However, lately I feel like I'm competing with others in an industry type of automotive photography and I feel this isn't fair.
I just have to vent a minute.
So, I have a show car / sports car as a daily driver as well. I go to events, I keep my Instagram (specifically for my car) updated regularly with gorgeous photos for those who follow, and I am a photographer who also photographs clients vehicles.
Lately at car shows I haven't even wanted to bring out my camera because I see so many others "taking photos" / walking around with cameras. Even when I go to shows, I only take photos of those I know anyways as car event photos are not my thing, it's more of an appearance thing, I went, I seen, We hung out, good times bro.

So I am semi discouraged and angry that people with little experience are posting photos from events and and saying they are professional photographers and picking up paying gigs from a crappy shot at a car show.
Car show photography should not be a professional thing unless the event holder actually pays you to do promotional footage. Wtf...
