I never thought about electronica being like a wooden boat, but it is true. I just bought a couple of Lumix cameras since mine have all gone belly up. And they were on sale, get one to replace the other new one once it dies. Great cameras, but not dust/waterproof. Biking with them seems to be hard on them.

Thanks for the Speedway suggestion, but since I don't drink coffee, hmm. Maybe I can still keep it in mind, since I'm "thrifty" too, and may take it up some year.
