But yes, you are correct, I'm a man, or at least a male kid in an bigger, older body. Suppose I've never felt there is too much reason to take life any more seriously than the energy it takes to get half way there. But alas, no children, except some goofy cats that showed up on our doorstep, and decided to stay for the duration. It's been some good story fodder, though not as much fun as a true, human child. As evidenced by the adventures you have. Cats may have more legs, but are also more uni-dimensional.
Glad you like my home parenting advice. The casual, all-knowing bookworm. Just remember to add the chapter on NOT following them into the loo with his book, when he's over 20. Tends to water down the desired, end result a bit.
