Your nights are MUCH more adventurous than mine. All I do is sit in bed and read till I fall asleep. Which takes too long, often. I need a kid, and a tall stack of books. And fewer frogs out by the pump-house too.
As for the peeing/reading thing. I have an idea. You could have a short lesson during the day on the advantages of reading while walking, (so when he is older he can look sophisticated, walking down the sidewalk, immersed in a thick tome as he goes about his strolling business, or on the way to work(just remind to keep an eye out for errant taxis and falling piani's)), and AFTER this lesson, when you are in bed, and he's reading, and Mz. FullBladder pays a visit, you bring up the lesson. "OK, we'll now practice walking and reading, follow me into the loo, and then back to the room. Won't that be great practice?"
Maybe it's good I don't have any children of my own.
Thanks for a very entertaining read. And I learned a lot too.
