Ha haa, classic read. Spent a bit of time in your corner of the world. Those Palmetto's were amazing. Bigger than my shoe. Then again, I was smaller then. But they're still HUGE. My grandmother was quite obsessed with them, though she was a bug lady. Glad Hub's got him/her/it in the end. (Turn it over, like a kitten?) Probably had to use a crowbar to dispatch it. Cheers
