Growing up in Tokyo where the U.S. military base ran some American fancy goods shops, my first phone had to be an American phone replica with ABC, and it would have to be red. I remember paying a fortune for it in the early '80s.

I have a British vintage phone at home but it's not the same... But my friend's teenage daughter was excited to try "dialling" for the first time. The bell's so loud though. 😁
