Hellow steemians! This day, (March 3, 2018) I, my girlfriend and some of my student had a mission. We went to Brgy. Lalakay Los Baños Laguna to look for what they say the hidden falls!
Are you ready?
CAMERA ROLLING!
So before we start our small trip, we packed some things. Number one on our list is, of course, foods and then drinks, an umbrella for heat protection we also brought some spare clothes, and lastly, we also checked ourselves and I also ensure that my students are physically ready for our adventure since this is also part of our topic in P.E (hiking).
1 2 3 ACTION!
The road to our destination is not that easy, literally, we walked on a warm day and also there's a lot of steep part to the uneven road.
We also saw some animals like goats and sheeps beside the road eating and resting peacefully.
We also saw some dogs and for some reason, they were barking at us. We don't know if they were angry cause we're here or that just they want to give us a warm welcome.
We also took extra care, we are all alert cause we are in a landslide-prone area and we don't know if accident will happen.
There's also some local residents here who help us and guide us on our trip. Children also asked us if we know the exact location of the waterfalls and offered themselves as a guide for an exchange of a small amount of money. But we refuse to 'cause one of our target place was the house of my student and he will be our guide.
** AND....... CUT!!**
And finally, after an hour, we reached the house of my student we rest for almost 30 mins.
My student also brought some foods
Chicharon, FYI that's a vinegar on a lambanog bottle, Citrus maxima aka Suha and sweet corn snack :)
TAKE 2 ACTION!
And again we continued our journey
At this point, we walked on a moist and a very rocky road. We were all exhausted but there's no hesitation we still do what we can.
The fresh air here gives us an extra strength.
On our way, we really enjoyed the view, nature, and everything. We don't even notice that we walked for almost an hour.
GOOD TAKE!!
And finally, we're here! This place is the 'Talon Talunan Falls'.
All I can say is it's all worth it!! We owned that place no one was there. The rocks formation was superb, the water is very cold and clean it's just that, the rocks reflection gives a color gray appearance to it. The falls is almost 8 meters high and seperated into two layers. I think the deepest part of this waterfalls is 4ft. No explanation is needed why you must see this place especially if you live near here and the best part is........
No entrance fee!!
@dclass6 :)
