DCC Joins Blockchain Discussion in Hangzhou, China
On July 24, Stewie Zhu, our founder and CEO, attended the Sino-US Blockchain Technology and Application Seminar in Hangzhou, China. This event was co-hosted by Fortuna Blockchain Research Center at Zhejiang University and Fintech Association of Zhejiang.
During the summit, Stewie shared his view on reducing systematic risks in the financial markets with distributed credit. As he mentioned, DCC will construct a distributed credit ecosystem that offers financial service providers a brand-new platform for collaboration, facilitating global inclusive finance.
Other participants included founders of Fortuna, as well as DCC’s strategic partners, CertiK and DATA. (Fun fact: like Stewie, they all graduated from Yale University!)
DCC Hosts Blockchain & Credit Forum in Vietnam
On July 28 and 29, DCC hosted the Blockchain and Credit Decentralized Forum in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, two major cities in Vietnam. In addition to Stewie’s presentation about DCC’s solution to the fundamental problems in the current financial industry such as high centralization and transaction fees, local experts working in finance and academia also shared their views on blockchain technology and credit systems.
Dr. Phạm Thị Giang Thu, a leading researcher specializing in blockchain policies, discussed the trends in regulatory issues with Mr. David Ha and Ms. Hoa Celine, two community management gurus. Over 600 attendees joined us at the forum, and nearly 40 media outlets covered this event.

Tech Developments
We’re developing an IPFS-based framework for personal data management and are currently setting up the smart contract on the test chain. This framework will be incorporated into our Apps.
We’ve just finalized the inter-chain transaction service on the DCC platform. Now, users can transfer their DCC tokens under the same address between a private chain and Ethereum.
In the latest version of BitExpress, we’ve optimized the transaction and order management functions as well as the back-end loan application system. The English version is also available now!
By August, BitExpress will launch cryptocurrency deposit services supported by the risk-free arbitrage tools from TOKENPLUS.
We’re working on connecting our database with data service providers in Indonesia, to extend our reach to a larger audience!
We’re also connecting with a Chinese loan service platform and will launch new loan services based on the DCC network.
