What's Buzzing Friends...

The greatest thing since sliced bread. We think D.Buzz is this, but then we're also wondering who was the first one to start automating the slicing of bread, and where did that saying originate?

If you are not familiar with this phrase, "The greatest thing since sliced bread", it generally equates to new technology that is marvelous and wondrous that makes mundane tasks easier. Such as before pre sliced bread, people had to sliced bread by hand. The agony.

Our journey to discover the origin of this takes us to the Chillicothe Baking Company in Missouri USA and the Rohwedder Bread Slicer. This company has the pleasure of being the first to design sliced bread.

Developed by Otto Rohwedder, this inventor did not loaf around. But instead design the bread slicing machine that was put into use in 1928, and in no small way revolutionized the bread industry forever.

With our bread history in place let's move on to the next best thing since sliced bread, D.Buzz and this week's updates.
