Hey Guys and Gals,

Thanks for tuning into another interesting post from your friends over at D.Buzz.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, you have 30 frames per second (*24?) in a video and, an average video might be 60 seconds. Therefore, a 60-second video then is worth about 1.8 million words. If this is true, then D.Tube is worth at least A few multiple billions words, but for the sake of this content writer's sanity, will try to highlight this platform in about 250 words.

This week, we will be looking at "D.Tube"

Currently, listed as the seventh most used DApp on the block, D.Tube is a premier blockchain based video syndicating platform.

D.Tube has four pillars on which it is based.

It is a cryptocurrency incentive driven platform. Users can post a video on the block chain of their choice and, earn a native token called "DTC", Directly on D.Tube.
Being that it is built upon the block chain it is inherently resistant to censorship.
All data on the platform is transparent, making it a fair platform that does not play favoritism.
D.Tube does not serve adds to the users and is advertisement free. Users are however allowed to monetize and advertise a product or service they wish.

The current directors of D.Tube, is composed of a lot of top-notch people. @heimindanger is the acting CTO, @superkoala is the developer. While @nannal takes care of the server administration and, @macron is the Business development contact.

D.Tube is getting ready to launch their own main network entitled "Avalon". At this time the new main net does not have a hard launch date but it is in active development with regular updates posted on discord. Users can post to HIVE, STEEM and the soon to be released mainnet Avalon to earn off posted content.

D.Tube is a solid platform with a lot of great content. It is worth diving into the search results and seeing what fun videos are shared on this platform. :)
