The Case Against Intellectual Property Laws -- Questions
Without intellectual property laws, how would we ensure that individuals receive credit for novel ideas, products, processes, or inventions?
Stemming from the first question posed, without intellectual property laws would we be able to accurately regard individuals for their ideas... what would be the incentive for progress if your own ideas were able to be taken from you legally by other cooperation's or individuals?
Lower prices would likely be an effect across the board on commercial products, as the resources spent on obtaining a patent could either be redirected and invested into product development, or kept for profit of the company... Are there other examples "positive" effects that would come from the abandonment of such laws?
