Hello all! Another week and it’s time again to do another #myhivegoals post, a series idea started by started by @jongolson. This also doubles as my weekly progress report for #saturdaysavers, which is a fun little group that tries to motivate everyone to save and reach their goals. I’m going to look at the progress I’ve made on my Hive goals, as well as give a few tokens I’m looking at right now. If you are here for the comment SBI giveaway, well, we’ll get to that too.

Let’s start with my Hive goals.

Hive & HBD

My current goal is 60k Hive.

Last week I made 456.39, bringing me to 58476.04 total Hive Power. That’s 97.5% of my goal!

Math time. 60k - 58476.04 gives us 1523.96. Divided out by the days till the first of next year, we get 14.1 Hive needed per day to reach 60k by that point.

I’m sitting on 1000 liquid HIVE. It’s tempting to power all of that up… But I do like having a little sitting there just in case we get a sudden pump. I’m not opposed to doing a powerdown to take advantage of any price increase, but a pump and dump might not wait for the first payment of a powerdown to hit.

Anyway, if we look at my 70k stretch goal, things continue to get further away. It’s now at 106.7 per day needed. Maybe LEO will help me out and go back up to 1 HIVE each — or more!

Second Layer Tokens

BBHO just had an interesting update. See here. @bradleyarrow is one of the most dedicated guys on Hive — that alone makes BBHO worth a look. I’m surious to see if this new idea helps the price recover back to where it was.

Wow, isn’t that cool? While I prefer the Spidey drawn with large eyes, and that Green Goblin there looks a little too anime — it’s still a cool design!
