A little bit ago I mentioned that frogs are lucky in Japan. I'll put a post up specifically about that sometime soon and give you the details as to why they are lucky, but at the moment just bear in mind that they are lucky.
That in mind, I've come across some frog silver coins recently to bring us all lucky!
Unfortunately, none of them are very affordable... But maybe that's part of the luck! But one and the value keeps going up. At any rate, thought we'd take a look.
2022 New Zealand Archey's Frog
I probably like this one the best of all these frog coins. That's a pretty good image and the premium on it isn't too high. It's going for $230 for 2 oz of silver. Ok... that's a lot, but remember, it's lucky!
2023 Cook Islands: Kiss the Frog
I don't like the image as much, but it is a frog, so lucky! The price, on the other hand, isn't as lucky. $270 for 2oz of silver.
2022 Dominica Mountain Chicken
Finally an affordable one! This image seems to be trying for slime on the frog which makes it less good than it might otherwise be, but it's still a nice looking coin.
Well, there you go. Three interesting frog coins, one of them even affordable!
Look for that post on why a frog is good luck in Japan soon.
