Success in life is when opportunity collides with preparations. God can only bless you to the extent of what you can take.
Isaiah 54:2-3"Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;
3KJV: For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
The way to know that you are growing is that you are increasing in knowledge.
1cor. 13:11"When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
Build your capacity and increase in the knowledge of God.
You need to grow in character. Character defines who you are. Add character to your faith. It is part of capacity building. It defines your personality. 2 Peter 1:5"And beside this, giving all diligence( character), add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge.
*Virtue is moral excellence.Maturity is the ability to walk away.
Your faith can proclaim but your patience is what will obtain.
You need to grow in knowledge. Knowledge is the acquisition and assimilation of valued added information.
A man biggest problem is ignorance. Anything you don't know controls you. Capacity building is the secret of promotion.
A leader is someone who sees before others. Invest in your self first.
*Work on being or becoming somebody. With what you are, you will have.
*Go for training, become an expert in your field.Study: Invest in your mind.
Pray. Let this be a part of your lifestyle.
*Seminars/Conferences. Man is meant to explore his world. Travel is part of learning.
*Service: Give yourself to service. If you want to be a king, you have to serve a king. Servants becomes leaders. Don't be an idle person in the House of God.
Serving God preserves you. Your life must have a purpose in the house of God.
