while i agree politically, Jesus said 'turn the other cheek' - he healed the ear of the guard who came for Him; was silent in false accusations against Him; and then in revelation makes clear the warning 'He who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword.'

our mission is to be humble like He was, and if this means death for His name then so be it; though i suspect only those who go looking for that end will find it.
