i've seen them clear the skies with trails as well.
at this stage my best guess is that they are purely for weather manipulation, to support the false 'climate change' bogeyman by giving us extremes of unexpected weather, floods, forest fires etc.

unfortunately social media is designed to create echo chambers, the world is hopelessly and cluelessly divided, and there will be no mass awakening as promied by truth movement deceivers.

doesn't stop us talking and posting for the few who will wake up and realise the truth of their reality though ;-)
