the bible seems to be saying that though people will be actively encouraged to get one, it won't be mandatory, but of course you'll be saying goodbye to the corporate techno-civilisation, and learning how to cook rabbit, etc. if you refuse or flee to the mountains.

those in on-grid houses even if paid for will not be able to function as they won't be able to pay any bills, nor earn any money/ draw pension etc.

i think whatever the mark is, believers should be focused on how they are going to live in the coming age of technocracy, outside of the system and society - are people planning? are they learning skills?
