I always wonder why people in the Cannabis industry can be on edgy... By this I mean, they are aggressive or uneasy often while working together. I know propose that much of this is due to prohibition and the aftermath of such a seriously flawed policy, which leads to harsh untold realities for the boots on the ground.
The War on Drugs is simply Unjust
In prohibition land, you can't call the police for help with regards to cannabis. Normal outlets for justice such as police or courts continually fail to produce results that are worse than what are found on the streets. Yet, gangsters run the streets. As silly as that sounds, it's a joke until you have a gun pointed at your head because you're trying to buy cannabis or working within the industry. These realities don't exist in Colorado- to such an extreme extent that I personally forgot what it was like. I thought prohibition was over to some degree.. perhaps a case of naivety with my young age but nonetheless, it's an interesting paradox. Prohibition leads honest people unable to practice honest business while empowering gangsters and those willing to use violence to get their way.
I hope this resonates with at least one person <3 #LegalizeIt
