The Oscar’s are tonight and I have to say I am pretty hype for them. I have always been into award show junkie and this year is no different really. I love it all from the celebrity red carpet moments, the fashion, and the movies! My top for pick for this year’s best picture nomination is GET OUT from the mind of the brilliant Jordan Peele who is also nominated for best director and Daniel Kaluuya is also nominated for best actor for Get Out. Best of luck to them, I am rooting for you guys! I have listed all the nominations below with my picks for each of the top categories. While I know some are asking why is she so partial to Get Out, well it is because it was a movie that had so many layers to it, it was not just a movie it was a cultural movement, I want it to get the recognition is deserves and well let’s just put it out there, it was nominated but shunned at other award shows this year.

Now to the other reason we watch the award shows, the FASHION! I love the award shows because of the great fashion we see on the red carpet, last year was so on point, I will of course never call out a bad look because people always do their best for the Oscars, the fashion is what the red carpet is all about. So the following are people that we should watch for this year as they always stun with their red carpet fashion, my favorite and top pick for fashion icon is Lupita Nyong'o. The lady can’t put anything on that looks bad on her!

Jennifer Lopez always comes out looking like a million bucks! She award fashion is always eye turning and on point, but with her flawless skin would wouldn’t be caught looking at her even in jeans and a t-shirt?!

What about the men you say, well all are stunning in their black tie attire and one can never go wrong with the black tuxedo. I particularly like the black on black look like with Mahershalalhashbaz Ali.
