Hello to my dear Hivers and the beloved community of artists #Jewelry, as always very pleased and excited to be here again, showing you my work made with love and especially for you.

For today I bring you a very simple work, inspired by its colors in dry leaves, I love that kind of brown tone, from there and the shapes that I make derives the title, a pendant for necklace molded in the shape of leaves in the quilling technique.

Hola a mis queridos Hivers y a la querida comunidad de artistas #Jewelry, como siempre muy complacida y emocionada de encontrarme por acá nuevamente, mostrándole mi trabajo hecho con mucho amor y especialmente para ustedes.

Para hoy les traigo un trabajo muy sencillo, inspirado por sus colores en hojas secas, me encanta ese tipo de tonalidad marrón, de allí y las formas que realice deriva el título, un dije para collar moldeado en forma de hojas en la técnica de quilling.

Esperando que sea de su agrado, les dejo mi proceso creativo:

• We will begin by taking a 6mm wide x 20cms long dark brown quilling ribbon and another 6mm wide x 40cms long ribbon of a lighter shade, we join both ribbons to form a single one, we roll with the quilling needle and we will place in a circle ruler in the measure of 16mm, we remove from the mold and seal with glue, we will obtain an open circle.

• Vamos a comenzar tomando una de cinta de quilling de 6mm de ancho x 20cms de largo marrón oscuro y otra cinta de 6mm de ancho x 40cms de largo de una tonalidad más clara, unimos ambas cintas para formar una sola, enrollamos con la aguja para quilling y vamos a colocar en una regla de círculos en la medida de 16mm, sacamos del molde y sellamos con pega, obtendremos un circulo abierto.

• Under the same parameters as above, we will take another dark brown quilling tape and this time another one of a slightly lighter shade, roll it with the needle, measure in the mold in the 13mm circle, take it out and seal it with glue. As this circle we will need 2.
  
  
• Next we will take a dark brown ribbon of 6mm wide, but this time of 10cms long and another with an even lighter shade of 20cms long, under the same process we will make an open circle but this time in the measure number 11mm, we will also need 2 circles like this one.

• Bajo los mismos parámetros anteriores, vamos a tomar otra cinta de quilling marrón oscura y esta vez otra de una tonalidad un poco más clara, enrollamos con la aguja, mediremos en el molde en el círculo de 13mm, sacamos del mismo y sellamos con pega. Como este círculo necesitaremos 2.


• A continuación tomaremos una cinta marrón oscura de 6mm de ancho, pero esta vez de 10cms de largo y otra con una tonalidad aún más clara de 20cms de largo, bajo el mismo proceso haremos un circulo abierto pero esta vez en la medida número 11mm, necesitaremos también 2 círculos como este.

• We are going to mold the circles, I will put the order in the image. To the center circle we will place a medium size bijouterie ring and proceed to flatten it forming a kind of leaf or drop.
  
  
• The other circles we will mold by flattening them and forming a leaf, but inclined, 2 of them to the right side, and the other 2 to the left side. We proceed to join them all together, as shown in the images.

• Vamos a moldear los círculos, pondré el orden en la imagen. A el círculo del centro le colocaremos una argolla mediana de bisutería y procedemos a aplanar formado una especie de hoja o gota.


• Los demás círculos los moldearemos aplanándolos y formando una hoja, pero inclinada, 2 de ellos hacia el lado derecho, y los otros 2 hacia el lado izquierdo. Procedemos a unirlos todos, tal como lo muestro en las imágenes.

• We proceed to place as decoration a small costume jewelry crystal in the center piece.
  
  
• To finish we are going to apply the liquid protection to the pendant (plasticized), applying several layers of extra strong white glue, letting it dry between one layer and the other.
  
  
  This way we have a beautiful necklace charm ready for use. Additionally I made some hanging buttons with the same shades of the pendant to make the game, I like to make sometimes different accessories but that contrast and make games.

• Procedemos a colocar como decoración un pequeño cristal de bisutería en la pieza del centro.


• Para finalizar vamos a colocar la protección liquida al dije (plastificado), aplicando varias capas de pega blanca extra fuerte, dejando secar entre una capa y otra.


De esta manera tenemos un bonito dije para collar listo para su uso. Adicionalmente realice unos botones colgantes con las mismas tonalidades del dije para hacer el juego, me gusta realizar en ocasiones accesorios diferentes pero que contrasten y hagan juegos.
