Chess Pawn in 3D // Necklace Pendant Quilling Technique [Eng/Esp]
Hello everyone... ✨
Hello to my dear Hivers and the beloved community of artists #Jewelry, as always very pleased and excited to be here again, showing you my work made with love and especially for you.
A couple of months ago I started making a chess piece to give a gift to a very dear friend, as she is a fan of the game, I thought why not make her a small pendant of a Queen to surprise her, then I got the idea of making the King for her husband, and from there I derived this project in which I materialized each of them to send them to each of the members of her family, the tower for her baby, the bishop for her mother, and then I said let's complete them all to give her the set of pieces.
Today I finish with piece number 6, which in this case will be the 3D chess pawn necklace charm, and I really love to have completed them all and share them with all of you.
If you want to see how I made the other chess pieces in 3D, here are the posts so you can see the step by step:

Let's get started:😃
Hola a todos... ✨

Comencemos:😃
• Cintas de quilling de 3 y 6mm de ancho blancas.
• Pega blanca extra fuerte (de carpintería).
• Tijera.
• Palillo de altura, pincel o algun objeto largo.
• Perlas blancas pequeñas de bisutería.
• Argolla mediana de bisutería.
• Regla.
• Alicate punta fina.
- 3 and 6mm wide white quilling ribbons.
- Extra strong white glue (carpentry glue).
- Scissors.
- A tall toothpick, paintbrush or some long object.
- Small white costume jewelry beads.
- Medium size costume jewelry ring.
- Ruler.
- Fine nose pliers.
- We start by taking 6mm wide white quilling ribbons, we will join several of them with a touch of extra strong white glue, to form a single ribbon of 130cms long.
- We will roll the ribbon with the help of the quilling needle until we reach the end, we seal it with extra strong white glue (carpentry glue), we will obtain a closed circle.
- We will take the closed circle and we will proceed to mold it, we will go up with the finger or some object that we have at hand to form a kind of cone.
- When we finish molding the piece, we will put a little bit of glue with a brush on the bottom part that is hollow so that it does not move or deform.
- We will take a white quilling ribbon 3mm wide x 100cms long, we will join several ribbons as we did before until we reach the size we need, with it we will make a closed circle.
- To complete the pieces that will form the pawn, we will take a 6mm wide x 90cms long ribbon, we will roll it with the quilling needle, before finishing with all the ribbon we will put a medium size costume jewelry ring, we will finish rolling and seal it with glue, we will take it out of the needle, and to finish we will place on both sides a small white costume jewelry pearl to decorate it.
- Now we have the pieces ready, we are going to form the small chess pawn, we apply extra strong white glue (carpentry glue), we will join each one and finally the piece in the shape of a circle that I decorated with pearls on both sides, you can see better in the image.
- To finish with the process of making this pendant for necklace, I put its liquid protection (plasticized), with a brush apply several layers of extra strong carpentry glue, letting it dry between one layer and another.
This is the last piece of my beautiful chess project that I wanted to make as a gift and at the same time to show you all the creative process.💕
