Hi Steemit community,
Here's a serie I made in a quite famous abandonned limestone quarry nicknamed "Fonsdé" because people were used to organize huge parties here in the last three decades. Now the place is quiet like a tomb.
As you may have noticed before, I always start with a simple picture using color gels :
214s 23mm f/7.1 100 ISO
When I'm happy this the first step, I go to level 2 : adding an abstract light-calligraphy and modifying the global lighting :
388s 16mm f/7.1 100 ISO
487s 23mm f/7.1 100 ISO
While I was doing lightpainting, homies were working hard to clean the area for an upcoming party. When they were exhausted, we decided to move deeper into the quarry to a flooded part. As you can see, someone was really too tired to move during the shot^^
123s 23mm f/4 100 ISO
Lightpainting created in real time, captured to the camera in one single photographic frame.
No layers /no Photoshop / no editing exept minor adjustments (lens correction profite, WB, contrast (+12)) and addition of my logo.
Gear :
Canon EOS 6D Mk II body
Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM lens
Canon RC-E6 IR remote
Zomei carbon tripod
