What do you do when everything seems to be going wrong? How do you cope with unemployment, or bankruptcy, divorce, etc.? The first quality decision you need to make early in your circumstances or temporary setback is not to give up on yourself or lose hope about the future. There is still life after the juniper tree.
It could be very comforting to realize that the problems you are facing are not unique. Somebody somewhere has been in it before. The history of achievement is coloured with the image of men who either failed the first time around or many times over. American history will not be complete without the Great Emancipator, Abraham Lincoln. He was an emboidement of what victory over failure is. But he was a man who was ready to make his failure work for him:
Lincoln had a catalouge of failures but He did not remain defeated.
During the Korean war an American platoon was defeated, and when a journalist got to interview one of the soldiers on what they would do after such defeat, the soldier said 'give me tomorrow'. There is nothing to fear, like fear itself.
We would definitely face defeat one time or the other, but we shouldn't remain defeated, we must remain strong and never give up.
