So now we are in meteorological autumn. The weather seems to be turning cooler and wetter, which is a relief after the long drought of summer.
But nature has not caught up yet. It takes time for the trees to change from their uniform green canopy to all the beautiful colours of autumn and September is usually a very warm month, although the mornings are increasingly cooler now.
I am now wondering what the winter will be like after such an incredible summer. I think el nino will have a strong effect, so we might need to batten down the hatches! 馃ぃ
