Lots of fun and sun in Brighton today. 馃ぃ. How about living in this upside-down house? This can be found very close to the i360 viewing platform.
Earlier this morning we visited the gardens around the Brighton Pavilion. The grass was very dry and brown after this very dry spell, looking sad. The building is impressive though!
After a lunch in our hotel, we took the walk along part of the promenade where the upside-down house is located. As we passed along there were huge bubbles floating by in the air. Where were they coming from?
It was fascinating and fun to watch the children running after the bubbles. There was a good sea breeze blowing inland so the bubbles did not hang around for long! 馃槀.
It would not be complete without including a shot of the remains of the west pier. Now derelict and left to the elements.
I took a picture of it from our hotel room window. Please excuse the quality of the photo, taken through a dirty window, although it gives a good perspective from a higher viewpoint and low tide too.
