Charlie quedó totalmente paralizado frente a la pantalla, allí estaban los nombre de sus compañeros LUCAS y SOFÍA, donde Charlie tenía solamente 10 segundos para utilizar el emblema, pero antes de eso miró hacia donde estaba Lucas y después hacia la plataforma de Sofía, sin embargo, se iban desapareciendo y solo se podía oír su voz a los lejos. Los segundos fueron pasando y cada vez era más difícil para Charlie pensaba en cada momento que había vivido con ellos, pero luego de eso tocó sobre el nombre de SOFÍA y en voz baja comentó —Espero haber hecho lo correcto— pero en ese momento la pantalla mostró una última frase: LA ELECCIÓN SIEMPRE TIENE UN PRECIO.
Charlie was completely frozen in front of the screen. There were the names of his classmates, LUCAS and SOFÍA, and Charlie had only 10 seconds to use the emblem. But before he did, he looked toward where Lucas was and then toward Sofía’s platform; however, they were fading away, and he could only hear their voices in the distance. The seconds ticked by, and it grew harder and harder for Charlie as he thought about every moment he’d shared with them. But then he tapped on SOFÍA’s name and whispered, “I hope I did the right thing.” Just then, the screen displayed one final phrase: EVERY CHOICE COMES AT A PRICE.
Al tomar la decisión Lucas comenzó a descender, hasta que llegó a una enorme habitación circular, donde había cuatro puertas, y solo una de ellas era la salida correcta y las otras tres aumentarán la dificultad de tu siguiente desafío. Lucas no sabía lo que estaba pasando y por eso recordó las palabras de su amigo, por ende Lucas dio un paso hacia la primera puerta y en ese momento en la pantalla apareció un mensaje —TU COMPAÑERO HA UTILIZADO UN EMBLEMA— la cual se emocionó un poco, sin embargo, Lucas no fue salvado y por eso de inmediato las cuatro puertas comenzaron a cambiar de posición.
Por otro lado, estaba la prueba de Sofía, donde apareció en una habitación completamente blanca y en el piso había un círculo rojo, donde la voz comentó —Bienvenida a tu desafío: CONFIANZA— entonces apareció una primera imagen y era Charlie, luego otra y era Lucas, donde uno de ellos será necesario para completar tu prueba y ellos son los que van a elegir por ti. Todo cambio cuando aparecieron dos caminos y cada uno representaba a un amigo, además había tiempo y cada segundo que pasaba era muy valioso.
Once he made his decision, Lucas began to descend until he reached a huge circular room with four doors—only one of which was the correct exit, while the other three would increase the difficulty of his next challenge. Lucas didn’t know what was happening, so he remembered his friend’s words. He took a step toward the first door, and at that moment a message appeared on the screen: —YOUR TEAMMATE HAS USED AN EMBLEM— which excited him a little. However, Lucas wasn’t saved, and so the four doors immediately began to shift positions.
Meanwhile, there was Sofía’s test, where she found herself in a completely white room with a red circle on the floor. A voice said, “Welcome to your challenge: TRUST.” Then the first image appeared—it was Charlie—followed by another—it was Lucas. One of them would be necessary to complete her test, and they were the ones who would choose for her. Everything changed when two paths appeared, each representing a friend; time was also a factor, and every second that passed was precious.
En ese mismo momento, las luces del escenario principal volvieron a encenderse y allí estaban los treinta participantes, pero habían sido separados y cada uno con una prueba distinta. Charlie tenía la oportunidad de verla, donde Lucas estaba frente a cuatro puertas y Sofía estaba frente a dos caminos, la cual está niño comprendió entonces que el emblema que había utilizado no había salvado a Sofía, si no había cambiado su prueba. Aprecio unan nueva prueba para Charlie, que era saber si elegir si confías en Lucas, ya que ambos amigos estaban frente a una situación peligrosa, donde ahora Charlie tenía que confiar en que ellos elegirían correctamente, donde lo más complicado no eran las pruebas si no las dudas, así que en ese momento cada niño tomó su decisión y apareció una frase —LA CONFIANZA HA SIDO ELEGIDA.
At that very moment, the lights on the main stage came back on, and there were the thirty participants—but they had been separated, each facing a different challenge. Charlie had the chance to see that Lucas was standing in front of four doors and Sofía was facing two paths. The boy then realized that the emblem he had used hadn’t saved Sofía; rather, it had changed her challenge. A new challenge presented itself for Charlie: deciding whether to trust Lucas, since both friends were facing a dangerous situation. Now Charlie had to trust that they would make the right choice—the hardest part wasn’t the challenges themselves, but the doubts. So at that moment, each child made their decision, and a phrase appeared: —TRUST HAS BEEN CHOSEN.
