Kalam is a scientific discipline based on analytic and systematic thinking that has existed throughout Islamic intellectual history. However, this field of knowledge is increasingly poorly understood and tends to be abandoned due to a lack of interest and scarcity of expertise even in Islamic universities. This is in line with the strengthening of the currents of traditionalism, mysticism and liberalism that have hit the Islamic world since the last few centuries.
Knowledge of Kalam is a science that discusses divinity and the existence of all that is possible, starting with the problems that exist when we live in the world to problems when we die based on Islamic doctrine.
