I can tell you, Creativity also can come from our faults, when there are faults, you can understand that this is something new, Humans are here to do faults and gain experiences, like Einsteins said if you don't have any fault, you didn't experienced other things.

from what I hear, you even know more than me, but you take it hard! :D just keep playing, if you want to become a performer for live shows then play the track full, if you want to work at home studio and record in studio only, then you don't have to play the whole parts from start to the end, you can record each part solo and separated, so you can connect them to each other, though I love your process, because you music is live and has a life in it. great job man!

I also can tell you some people even make hits with a music with the same quality as your music! and it is great!

usually if I want to start playing a guitar part, I first create a kick and snare, and if I still don't feel the time well, I add hihats to play exactly on time :D, then I can remove that drums or change it.
by the way, which DAW (Software) do you use now? is it FL Studio or another DAW? in these software you can find metronome which it can help you play on tempo but still you can do what I said, like add a kick and snare and start playing along over it, make that kick and snare as a loop like for 1 minute or 2 minutes and then start recording on another line over that looped drums.
