A couple of weeks ago, I thought about launching a new Digitall Project promotion. I was thinking about the near Halloween party and I wondered why not take the opportunity to promote my Digitall Project. How? This time, with the creation of Halloween-themed promotional cards. It isn't the first time that I launch a promotion, the previous is the one I often indicate in my posts as Logobakery. You can consult the link on the official website of the project (you can find it on my user page or at the bottom of this post). But now let's go into detail.

Cards

Yes, cards. But not holiday-style cards, but cards like the classic ones you find for birthdays, invitations, or greeting card style. To obtain them, I used materials downloaded online, combining them in various ways and generating texts, backgrounds, or other personalized elements, then mixing them to obtain results that I hope you like. Finally, I created a kind of catalog with all the main results (the ones you see in the background of the cover image of this post).

The functioning

Well, how it works is simple: if you are interested, you can request a free card among those I propose. All of them can be customized according to simple requests, for example with names, dates, or other information that may interest you, or even with variations in colors and shades. Being a free promotion, the catalog of cards you can request is limited, but I hope it will be enough to pique your interest. The promotion will be active for the entire month of October 2022.

But these cards ... I mean, how? What am I doing?, you ask yourself.

Details ... but technical

These cards can be used as simple digital items, or even released to be printed. The format is not a giant format, but one like a simple postcard. The largest size will be 11x22 centimeters, a size that allows you to insert the postcard in an envelope.

The resolution (which you can consider as the quality with which the details in an image are represented) will vary slightly, but will usually be around 180 dpi.

This quality is not normally suitable for printing, but I still find good quality if the 180 dpi card is created in the exact size it will be printed in. I give an example.

If I create an image with a 180 dpi resolution of 10x10 centimeters and enlarge it to print it larger, the results start to be unattractive. If, on the other hand, I create a 10x10 image at 180 dpi, and proceed to print it exactly at that size, the results are decent for a simple greeting card and often also for most of the “cartoon” communication. Instead, I would like to point out that things can change in the printing of highly detailed photos, where the finest detail is what will make the difference in the final result. But photos like these aren't part of the promotion we're chatting about.

Well, in summary:

Maximum Size: 22 centimeters in width and 11 centimeters in height
Resolution: 180 dpi approximately

And I stress once again: this promotion is FREE. The only thing I ask of you, although it is not mandatory, is the possibility of receiving an evaluation on the social channels or on the other online channels of Digitall Project. If you liked it, if you like the card, if it satisfied you, you can leave a rating, a thumbs up, or even a review.

But the card, can I use it as I want?

I guess you will want to know about it. Due to licensing limitations that may interfere (technical stuff I won't dwell on), this promotion is RESERVED FOR END CONSUMERS. Meaning what? Like who? I tell you like me, or like you, that we want a card to give to a friend, or to print for the Halloween party we organize at our house, or at the school party, and so on. IT ISN'T ALLOWED instead to request cards that will be RESOLD, directly or indirectly, through any sales channel you can think of. You or your friends can use them, and you can't ask others to pay you in any way to sell them the image/card I send you.

Digital card? But what are you doing, exactly?

You ask yourself about it, maybe. And it is important that you understand this well, avoiding false expectations. I, as a representative of Digitall Project, clarify that I will provide ONLY THE GRAPHIC DESIGN OF THE CARD (so to speak, the image). If you want to use it digitally (for example as a simple image to share where and with whoever you want), you can use it as it is. If you want to print it, you will need to consult a printer or use other methods you have.

Advice.

There is some suggestion or clarification to make.

• First, if you want to print the card, it is useful to contact the person who will have to print it, to ask if they will print all types of sizes or if they will do it using only some pre-established ones.
• Then think about what you want to do with the PRINTED card: if you want to put it in an envelope, we will have to create a postcard of the right size to fit in the envelope. For this reason, you will first have to check and measure the dimensions of the envelope you will use, indicating what they are. In this way, I will be able to adapt the size or content of the card in the best way.
• Think about what you want to do with the DIGITAL card: if you want to use it as an image on social media or other online channels, you will need to (or should, because in some cases I may be able to help you) check which dimensions are the most correct indicated by the various platforms. Unfortunately, alas, in this case, it is not always possible to obtain the desired result. But trying doesn't hurt, and we don't back down.
