I wonder how rice can grow there, afaik it needs a lot of water and there there is not a lot it seems... Oranges too... I gotta say there is a compromise, I live in the city, but for vegetables and some fruit I go to a local farmer so it's good food, you could do the same there when in the city, go visit them and buy
