Imaginate
Silvio Rodríguez
Imagínate
Que desde muy niño
Te llevaba flores
Te daba mi abrigo
Imagínate
Que soy el amigo
De tu mismo grado
Que lleva tus libros
Imagínate
Que soy de tu calle
Que siempre pasé
Por donde miraste
Imagínate
Que hasta mi perro
Me busca en tu puerta
Cuando me le pierdo
Imagínate
Que eres mi dama
Mi último sueño
Mi más roja flama
Imagínate
Que somos nosotros
Tú y yo para siempre
Que no eres de otro.
Imagine
Silvio Rodríguez
Imagine
That from a very young age
I brought you flowers
I gave you my coat
Imagine
That I am the friend
Of the same degree
What carries your books
Imagine
That I am from your street
That I always went through
Where you looked
Imagine
That even my dog
It looks for me at your door
When I get lost
Imagine
That you are my lady
My last dream
My reddest flame
Imagine
What is we
You and me forever
That you are not from another.
