CS here stands for Cesarean Section, and it involves delivering a baby surgically.
This woman had complications and needed to be operated on immediately. Instead of giving the doctors the go ahead, she insisted she wanted to call her pastor first. She tried calling her pastor, but his number was not connecting. She decided to call Aunty Doyin who is the pastor wife. On hearing about the surgery, Aunty Doyin told her to tell the doctors to wait that she was on her way to come pray for her before they start the surgery.
The doctors knowing how serious this case was pleaded with the woman that the operation must take place immediately, but she insisted that her pastor's wife said she was coming to pray for her and that they should be patient. The doctors were tired of waiting but had no option but to keep waiting since she was yet to give her consent to the surgery. When Aunty Doyin arrived, the unborn baby was already dead.
It's really disheartening to know that at this jet age, some people still thinks shallow and are so gullible. Society has to unlearn a lot of things. The silly stigmatisation against any birth that’s not “vaginal” must stop. Why would society believe that any birth which isn't vaginal, isn't a natural birth? Permit me to say that these are all balderdash. I believe and will always believe that as long as the baby comes out of a womb, that birth is natural.
I’ve heard too many cases of people refusing CS because they want to pray instead. Pray for what? Is CS an evil thing that needs to be prayed away??? It’s just surgery for crying out loud! If you had a problem with one of your organs, would you choose prayer over surgery?
Yes, there’s nothing God cannot do, but why test him? Do you think he’d have blessed all these medical practitioners with the wisdom to do their job if there wasn’t any need for them? So why would you want to gamble with your life and that of your baby? You should be praying for a successful surgery if you decide to pray at all!
Now the baby is dead, and Aunty Doyin has the mind to say it’s God’s will. How is this God's will when we all know that this is something that would have been prevented. Thank God He is so forgiving, because the only thing that killed that child was foolishness and nothing more. It had nothing to do with God or his will.
